OFFF TALK BERLIN ILLUSTRATOR & ARTIST

Let me introduce myself. I was born and raised in a Japanese environment and still live in Berlin to my surprise. In Japan I studied architecture before becoming an illustrator and artist. I am influenced by various people and things in my creative work. For example, Arata Isozaki, a leading Japanese postmodern architect, American vintage from the 80’s to the 90’s and European Wunderkammer or even Kunstkammer. Kyoto's good thing is Japanese manga. At first glance, the interests of the visitors seem to be disparate and intricate, including Western painting, pop culture, various world music, and street culture, but this may be normal for modern people living in an information-overloaded age.
